At the moment the only live application from my storage locker is Analog III since it includes support for the 64-bit requirement put forth by Apple Inc. The rest of the apps have been removed from the App Store and if not, surely will be removed.
That spattering of very old stuff needs to be kicked to the curb anyway. I made some of that stuff more than eight years ago.
Apple board member Art Levinson told Isaacson that he phoned Jobs “half a dozen times to lobby for the potential of the apps,” but, according to Isaacson, “Jobs at first quashed the discussion, partly because he felt his team did not have the bandwidth to figure out all the complexities that would be involved in policing third-party app developers.”
That would have been even crazier 🙂
