RxList

Coming hopefully soon to an iOS device near you – RxList. What is it?

Well, along my life journey I’ve had some health issues which require me to take a large amount of prescription medication. And when I visit my doctors, even though my data is meant to be synced between them, I get asked what my meds are and what the dosages currently are. Since these are adjusted frequently, I made a small webpage that lists them out.

Whenever my dosage would change, I’d update the page. When visiting a doctor or nurse, I would simply hand them my phone to show them the list. They loved it and mentioned that others could probably like to do the same thing.

So if the data was easy to enter for normal people who aren’t web-minded or developers, it could help them. So I decided to make an iOS application that allows for this. It’s localized to English, French, Spanish, and Polish. It has a JSON import. You can AirPrint. It supports a share sheet so you can text the list to people you know, etc.

It’s fairly simple, but it could be quite handy. I uploaded my first pass at it and it’s currently awaiting review. Hopefully it will be distributed soon.
